At Path Medical, we’ve always maintained high standards of safety and cleanliness. Now, in order to ensure the safety of our patients and staff, we have taken a number of additional steps so our clinics continue to remain healthy places for you to confidently receive care.
No-Touch COVID-19 Screenings
We have implemented point-of-entry screening across all Path Medical locations. Everyone will be asked a few simple questions and we will take your temperature with a touch-free thermometer to quickly assess your risk for COVID-19. As a preventive measure to reduce risk to other staff and patients, our staff is also screened daily for coronavirus symptoms including temperature checks taken prior to be-ginning their shifts. If you are experiencing any COVID-19 symptoms such as fever, cough or shortness of breath please contact your clinic to reschedule your appointment or set up a virtual visit.
Mandatory Face Mask or Covering
Before arriving at any Path Medical location, please make sure to have a face mask or face covering. All Path Medical staff members are required to wear a mask or face covering at all times.
We have reconfigured our lobbies to comply with social distancing guidelines. Chairs have been spaced out to provide proper separation, and floor markings have been installed for cues on where to stand.
Staff Safety Training
Our staff members undergo infection control training that includes the latest recommended procedures and protocols. Our Infection Preventionist is continuously providing support and guidance to our staff. We are following all appropriate guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Department of Health to keep our patients and staff safe.
Virtual Visits and Patient Portal
Path Medical offers Telehealth visits for patients that are high risk or may be uncomfortable coming into the clinic. Online visits can be used for initial consultations and physician follow-up calls. Our Patient Portal enables you to complete all paperwork prior to your arrival, and save time when you arrive.
You may call the clinic when you arrive in the parking lot, and a staff member will meet you at your car to take your temperature and perform the screening. You can even wait in your car until a therapy room is available, to minimize interactions with others.
Following all CDC guidelines, Path Medical is open and operating under normal business hours and monitoring updates to ensure that our patients and staff remain safe and healthy.
